These paper beads have been treated to be water RESISTANT and not water PROOF. While they won’t fall apart with a little sweat or something accidentally spilled on them, they should NOT be worn in excessively hot or wet environments, as the beads may disintegrate.
If you do get them overly wet for whatever reason, take the jewelry off and allow to dry on a flat surface. Leave the piece alone will help avoid changing the shape of the bead
