About Frankenstitches

Frankenstitches are made of thrifted and donated stuffed animals to help reduce the intense amount of fabric waste that the earth has been producing. They also capture the whimsy and weirdness I feel mass produced plushies have been lacking.

Each donor plush is carefully washed prior to frankenstitching and I make it a point to avoid using plushies that have a sentimental value to their owners. The point of frankenstitches isn’t destruction, it’s new life
